Global Insight Manager
Amsterdam – Fulltime
This is a fascinating role within the Global Insights Team for someone with eight to ten years of work experience in designing studies to help businesses optimize decision making, interpreting ad-hoc market data, on either the agency or client side. You will be part of the dynamic and multicultural environment of a company that is committed to your personal and professional development.
Your day as a Global Insight Manager:
Your core purpose is to envision, synthesize, interpret and communicate research data (both quantitative and qualitative) across multiple sources to identify macro-level themes and insights with our professional target groups. You then action recommendations, both in writing and verbally, integrating strong customer understanding. In doing so you support the business team in identifying risks and opportunities from the professional customer perspective. This requires you to participate in business discussions with regard to opportunities, and to network with the larger Insight community across regions, sharing best practices.
Within this context you plan and recommend appropriate and cost effective research approaches with your manager’s guidance and support, obtaining supplier bids and recommending suppliers. You then supervise projects/outside suppliers and ensure the appropriate communication of project background and objectives as they relate to larger business and decision-making.
As such, this is an integral and wide-ranging role that makes a real difference to our business. You must be able to balance multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of quality and integrity. It also requires a strong leadership capability and the drive to further shape the Insight function within the company.
