Global Marketing Insights Specialist
The role and its responsibilities
You will be part of a forward thinking Innovation & Insight team as you network with a larger Insight community across regions, as well as with senior professionals from Global, Regional and local Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.
Your core function is to envision, interpret and synthesize research data (quantitative and qualitative) in order to identify macro-level themes, and micro-level actions and insights. At all times you focus on identifying risks and opportunities from the customer perspective. You then clearly and persuasively communicate findings, implications, and action recommendations, proactively sharing findings across clusters and Strategic Market Units.
Thus you participate in discussions to identify growth opportunities to apply relevant insights or identify knowledge gaps. You then plan and recommend appropriate and cost effective research approaches, obtaining research supplier bids and recommending a supplier.
Further, you supervise projects/outside suppliers to assure timely, high quality project execution. You also ensure the appropriate communication of project background and objectives, and their contribution to greater business decision making.
All of this requires you to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously with a high degree of quality and integrity. It also demands that you embody the strong leadership approach necessary to shape the Insight function within the organisation.
